Installing envite

 

Users of Slack, Microsoft Teams and Cisco Webex can now install envite directly from the Zoom Marketplace by clicking the button below.

The link opens a new web page that requires the user to enter their email address to proceed with the installation process. The user is required to select their preferred a messaging application from the list of available applications including Slack, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex etc. to install envite as their video meetings provider.

​

If envite is not installed previously, the installation process will require to install envite before installing Zoom. The complete step by step process of adding Zoom is outlined below.

Step 1: Enter your email address.

​

Step 2: Select your preferred messaging provider (Slack  Microsoft Teams or Cisco Webex etc.)

​

Step 3: Enter your credentials to complete the oAuth with your messaging provider.

​

Step 4: Accept/Allow the permissions to install envite. (Now you have completed the installation to your selected messaging application)

 

Step 5: Click “Add Zoom” to install/add Zoom to envite.

​

Step 6: Enter your credentials to complete the oAuth with your Video provider ( Zoom in this case)

​

Step 7: Accept/Allow the permissions to install envite. (Now you have completed the installation of Zoom to your selected messaging application)

Un-installing envite

​

User can un-install envite for Zoom at any time. The steps to uninstall Zoom for envite are outlined below:

Step 1: Login to the Zoom account and navigate to installed apps. Click the “Uninstall” 

           button at the end of the envite app tab.

Step 2: Complete the form with the reason to uninstall and permission to retain the user’s data with the

             application and click “Uninstall”.

Step 3 :envite app will be uninstalled from Zoom and based on data retention permission

           provided by the user, envite will send the request to Zoom’s data compliance route.

 

Step 4 :envite app will send a confirmation email to the user after successfully deleting Zoom

           for envite.

 

Step 5: envite app will also post a confirmation message in the envite bot room of the

             selected messaging application (Slack / Cisco Webex / Microsoft Teams) being used.
